In 2024, the Amfiteatru Foundation’s priority directions were strengthening the team, consolidating projects, and testing new ways of working with communities. We worked with local resources, invested in people, and stayed true to our mission: sustainable interventions built on the realities of each area.
We expanded our programs across the South-Muntenia, South-East, Center, and North-East regions—areas where we already had solid partnerships, as well as in new, high-potential communities. By the end of the year, our balance sheet shows a more stable position: a diverse portfolio, active national and international collaborations, a stronger team, and an increased capacity to deliver results.
Our 2024 interventions also received public recognition in fields such as local development, cultural industries, public health, and sustainability. For the team, the signal is clear: the foundation built this year provides confidence for the next stages and for scaling the impact of our programs.
Also in 2024, investments were made in editorial capacity and IT infrastructure—two key directions for more coherent and relevant communication. Digital platforms and editorial resources (both online and print) support our connection with the public, information campaigns, and the visibility of local initiatives, expanding the organization’s presence both in Romania and abroad.
